What: Homestuck Meetup
Why: Because. That’s why.
When: Saturday May 26th.
Who: Homestuckers and friends they bring with them.
Where: Atwood Park at Van Born and Howe. Here’s a map for the location and it’s surrounding area to help you find your way.

We will be meeting at the Gazebo. Or at least I think that’s what it’s called. It’s a sheltered area with a lot of picnic tables anyway, so yeah. There are a lot of trees to one side of it, and on the other is a track and a couple of baseball fields, with a playscape nearby. There is also the rec-center nearby, so if you’ve reached that area, just go north of the parking lot.

The Meetup is at twelve, and the schedule is more or less as thus.
12:00-1:00 Mix and Mingle while you wait.
This is so that any latecomers that are still in the process of trying to get there will have a chance to show up.
1:00-6:00 The Event
This is the main part of the meetup. We all have fun with whatever activities we bring with us, nosh on whatever snacks we bring with us, and whatever else. There will be fun, there will be Homestuck discussion and character impersonations, and there will be dancing, provided we can get some comps in there with some awesome homestuck music and other music and shenanigans and blaaaaaar.
Oh, and also there will be a photo shoot somewhere in there, definitely between 2:00 and 4:00.
6:00-7:00 The Wrap-Up
At 6 p.m., Clean up time starts. The sooner we get that done, the sooner we can get back to whatever. Also, provided there are enough cans, there will be a can town, there will be the mayoral election, and the elected Mayor will get to appoint a cabinet of advisers, and there will be pictures of the citizens of can town, the Mayor and his Advisers, and then everyone all at once.
The meetup ends at Seven P.M., for though I would like for it to continue if possible, there are those of us who do need to get home. Sorry! However, if there is someone willing to host after meetup shenanigans at their place, that would then that would be awesome.
